Privacy policy
This policy describes Jarvis’s personal Gmail integration and this public information website.
Operator and purpose
Jarvis is operated by Owen Chen for his own personal use. It accesses his authorized Gmail account to search, retrieve, and explain email in response to assistant tasks. Visitors cannot connect an account through this website.
Google data accessed
The integration requests the Gmail read-only permission. Data retrieved for a task can include message contents, sender and recipient information, subjects, dates, labels, and other message metadata. The granted scope does not authorize sending, modifying, or deleting messages.
Processing and disclosure
The assistant runs on the operator’s Mac. Email content selected for a task may be sent to the configured AI provider, currently OpenAI, for processing and may appear in replies delivered through WhatsApp. Email-derived content can also be retained in local assistant history, memory, or project files. This is not exclusively on-device processing.
Jarvis is not an advertising or data-resale service. Its intended use of Google data is limited to the owner’s requested assistant functionality, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google data is not intentionally collected by this integration to train a general-purpose model; processing by external providers is subject to the applicable account settings and provider terms.
Storage, retention, and access
OAuth credentials are stored in the private assistant runtime on the operator’s Mac. They are not published on this website. Local assistant records may remain until the operator deletes them; a fixed automatic deletion interval is not currently configured. External providers may retain service records under their own policies.
Email-derived information should be kept in the operator’s private assistant context. Sharing it with another person or a group requires the operator’s direction. This policy does not claim technical isolation between every local assistant session.
Revoking access and deleting retained data
The owner can revoke Jarvis’s access through Google Account third-party connections. This stops further authorized access but does not automatically erase previously saved assistant records. The operator can remove local credentials and email-derived records separately. Requests about access, privacy, or deletion can be directed to Owen Chen through the existing private assistant conversation.
This website
These pages contain no mailbox data, chat history, OAuth credentials, or account-connection form. We have not added analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the site.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the integration’s permissions or data handling change. Last updated October 11, 2026.
